1.       Favorite book and why?

~ I can't really choose a favorite because I love all of her characters; if I had to choose I would say either The Truth About Forever or Just Listen: In no order at all- and this is only because I HAD to choose..... I like them all and am still reading....

2.       Least favorite book and why?

~ My least favorite (once again, having to choose) is Dreamland- ONLY because I thought Matthew was going to save her, he saw through the picture and I believe he knew something wasn't right beneath what the picture showed (excuse the pun...) It just upset me that the book ended without a relationship that could have been her "saving grace". I really liked Matthew and had hoped he would secretly help her and talk to her and fall in love with her. But maybe this is just me being 16 and believing everything has to end in love? But do not get me wrong- I LOVE this book :P

3.       Favorite scene in favorite book and why?

~ My favorite scene would have to be in The Truth About Forvever, when they are in the car and then on the side of the road walking, and playing 20 Q's.... yes the perfect game is their own set of the 20 questions, I think it was so romantic (and frustrating for both at times, which is always amusing) <3

4.       Favorite character and why?

~ Wes in The Truth About Forever; he just seems like the type of guy I would fall for. Not only this, but his maturity and he seems to know more than you would expect him to, he is understanding and Handsome- not only his looks: His Personality. Wes and his 20 questions..... he is the guy that you want to jump into the book just to meet, hangout, of coarse flirt, and ask him questions until one gives up and in... <3

~ I like Owen too- he is a hero, literally…

5.       Which character do you identify most with and why?

~ I have never been in quite the same the situation as Catlin, but I think I would choose her. I have always felt like I haven't quite belonged in places and I understand why she loved Rogerson: She knew what it was like to go un notticed and liked the feeling of being in love and being loved back. She didn't want to loose the one person who made her feel alive when she needed it (in the begining). I have never been abused like Catlin, but the feeling of always being overshadowed makes some think that any type of love is better than none at all. I also Identify with Colie, I think more than Catlin... it's obvious reasons and the fact that everyone makes an impact on everyone they hurt. Colie has a hard time with trust- which is a common problem in everyone.

6.       If you could see a sequel to one of the author's books, which would it be and what would it be about?

~ Dreamland: I want her to start one of those slow and shy relationships with Matthew, who loves her pictures and always has a way of making her feel different- not the Rogerson different- but the nice different. I would Rogerson to find her- thinking she was alone and then see Matthew walk between them and save Catlin, pulling her back to the surface and making Rogerson realize what he did. Not to be punished- but to see the wrong and how it affects everyone. I want Matthew to be the knight in shining armor so badly- I thought it was going to happen after their small exchange.... but my heart was broken.

~ Lock and Key: I would want to see Nate come back and see what happens between the two. Not only this- but I would want to see her mother come into the story to see her also.

7.       What do you like about the authors writing style?

~ Sarah makes it exceptionally easy to relate to the characters and like them soooo much you find yourself screaming at them to do what's right- or when they've made an upsetting discision (Nate and Ruby's fight on valentines). Not just this, but their problems are the ones that you look around your classroom and see in each of the girls and boys there. They are things that make you desperate to find the solution for them- but then find yourself wanting them to figure this out. She just has an amazing way of writing that grabs at the reader's heart, allowing them to see the things in their own lives they've been to tired and so blind to miss.

8.       What are your favorite themes of this author?

~ I don't think I have a concept of a theme; but if I could try and attempt it- I would say that it is no matter who/where/when you are in life, you can always look to others for help- you are NEVER completely alone in life and there will always be somebody out there that feels the same way and will be able to relate to you. You shouldn't be so stand off-ish to others when you need help, or when they try to reach over and throw you that lifeline you've been needing so badly.

9.       What could be most improved about this authors books ?

~ Nothing. Absolutly Nothing. Her books aren't perfect, but this is why it works- no teenager is perfect and they have their ways of thinking that set them apart from everyone else- which is in the voices of each of the characters in her books; each one different- but all in the same mindset of a teen trying to survive everything weighing them down.

10.   A little about yourself…

~ I love to read- and when I read and write I don't see the words on the page- it is in my head- no, I don't read, I O]ABSORB... and I love "Absorbing" books I can relate to by authors who just seem to make sense. I start and can't stop. I am a perfectionist when it comes to my art- whch is why I understand Sarah- you want your masterpiece to come out the way YOU saw it in your OWN head- no one elses; even though it never seems to matter to them no matter how many good critiques you recieve. New book in June and movie in JULY- I can't wait- this is SOOO MY year!!!!! I have brown wavy/curly hair- depends on my mood. I can read books in a matter of a day and I think I may have a talent when it comes to picking out good books. :) <3 And this author forever has a place in my perpetual teen heart (even though that is what I am- I don't think I will grow up). If a book is good (all of hers) I will read them again, which is a biggggg complement coming from me- I haven't done this and I plan on doing it to all of Sarah's books! ummm..... I don't know what to write and I babble.... so....yeah.... this is me and some day I hope I meet Sarah. J
